Double Janus puts a version of the symmetrical piece Janus in canon with itself, turning the bare intervals of the original into a constantly shifting harmony.

In the solo organ version, the two intertwining canonic layers take different timbres, and are color-coded in the score. In the version for two organs, these layers are divided between the two instruments.
