The violin is tuned to two pitches, A and D, which are also the only pitches used throughout the slow sequence of chords. Within this stability, the changing gradations of voicings and timbres become magnified out of proportion into their own harmonic world.

Together with Eden Melody, it forms the diptych How to Become an Idea, which attempts to recover the feeling of pre-existence.
